DB Consulting provides an end-to-end service, from specification and design through coding, integration and testing to deployment, roll-out and support. We favour a collaborative approach which allows us to work alongside customers’ key business users and internal IT teams; but that does not mean the whole team needs to be on site all of the time.
Early project life cycle activities – scoping, requirements definition and application design – benefit from frequent interaction between project team members and stakeholders, so having the development team and business users working in close proximity is preferred; but during the software development and testing stages, work may effectively be carried out away from customer site. We locate our project teams where they need to be to get the job done: on site, off site, working out of our application development centre in Windsor, or remotely from our nearshore development centre in Gliwice, Poland.
Wherever our teams are located, agile methods coupled with modern communication allows each team to operate as a coherent unit.
