Application Access Controls Governor
Oracle has announced Release 8 of its (take a deep breath) Oracle(R) Application Access Controls Governor Release 8, a key component of the Oracle Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) applications suite.

This product allows administrators to enforce access control policies in Oracle E-Business Suite, PeopleSoft and even non-Oracle applications. For example separation of duties can be enforced in the application, ensuring proper authorisation of transactions made in business processes.
It incorporates a service-oriented approach to exposing functionality, allowing non-Oracle applications to be included in the same access control regime as Oracle Applications.
This is a big product with lots of features and certainly worth a look for organisations struggling to deal with policy compliance issues or intending to reduce the effort of maintaining their compliance regime.
