Oracle Human Resource Management System (HRMS)
Oracle Human Resources (HRMS) is a suite of applications that serves as a hub for all people-related activities, including communication, development, measurement, and compensation. Using these applications, businesses can track human resources activities from employment applications through to advanced benefits. Country localizations are heavily used to meet the legal requirements specific to each territory.
iRecruitment
iRecruitment is a web-based recruitment solution that enables enterprises to manage all their recruitment activities using a single self-service interface and an easy-to-use interface for job seekers. iRecruitment includes a separate homepage for each group of iRecruitment users:
- » Site visitors
- » Registered users
- » Managers
- » Recruiters
- » Agency users
Managers can publish vacancy positions and job seekers can apply to those positions. HRMS manages each applicant's applications and upon hiring, their employment with the company is created, along with the setting up of benefits, issuing of paperwork etc.
Time and Labor
The Oracle Time & Labour (OTL) module tracks time spent by employees and contractors. Timesheets can be entered directly into the application, or loaded from external spreadsheets. Approval mechanisms are used to approve the hours entered by employees and consultants.
Advanced Benefits
The Oracle Advanced Benefits (OAB) module allows compensation plan managers to define compensation and benefits packages from a series of user-definable elements, such as salary, private health cover and death-in-service.
The application allows managers to define the rules associated with the compensation packages and associate employees with those packages.
Each compensation plan can be attached at hierarchy level to indicate eligibility. For example a senior manager's compensation package can be defined and attached to all jobs at that level.
Employees can be offered flexible benefits packages, where a choice of benefits governed by HR rules is offered and the employee makes their own choice as to which benefits they will select. A user-defined credit system is used to "price" each benefit or combination of benefits and to set limits.
Payroll
A payroll is a set of employees whose pay you process with a single frequency, for example, weekly or monthly. Oracle HRMS allows you to define as many payrolls as you require in order to meet the pay policies of the business. Each employee on a payroll is assigned to a payment method, for example direct deposit or cheque.
Employee Management
Oracle's complex Employee Management form allows users to define each person as a job applicant or an employee. Against an employee are recorded personal details and employment details and they are assigned to a specific cost center or organisation.
Salary, Job Role and Supervisor assignments are made and HRMS maintains the history of the employee/applicant, including management of re-hire situations.
Incentive Compensation
Oracle Incentive Compensation is a module that allows users to define commission structures for sales people. Commission is automatically calculated and passed to Oracle Payroll at the correct time to be paid out to the employee.
